We are proud to announce that our Nashville Upshifter of the Week is Annika D. Annika has clocked over 500 hours across various shifts all while running her own business!
I am a mom to a 10-year-old daughter. I don’t have too much free time between taking care of my daughter and working. However, I do own a Food truck called The Hot Sea; where we sell shrimp baskets and fish sandwiches.
How has it been working on Upshift?
Upshift has been good! I enjoy working at Associated Wholesale Grocers because everyone is really nice and it’s a pleasant environment. I prefer to do office work; however, I have worked some catering shifts with Sodexo at Lipscomb University.
What do you like most about Upshift?
I like the flexibility aspect of Upshift. I like that you can potentially land jobs where you gain more experience than you had before. It allows you to add to your resume and develop new skills. Upshift has definitely helped during the hard times of the coronavirus.
